Just letting you all know about another pretty cool RPG site, Harry Potter Online or HPO.

It is very similar to HL but smaller.

If its almost the same as Hogwarts Live, then what's the point?
It isnt exactly the same...same layout and stuff. But heaps more fun and easier to handle. And with a smaller community pretty much everyone gets along!
I've registered on the site, and died twice. Now, I'm wandering aimlessly around a graveyard by myself. depressing Yes, this game rocks. lol
Cool, you got good weapons and stuff? if you owl me I can give you gold and gems to buy equipment. Thanks to...someone ...I have plenty of that! I also have two castles and an always growing clan.
I registered too I am TheSoulTaker on there. and I died in my first fight because I needed 40 gold more to buy an armour and I tried to fight but. I lost my more than 2000 that I already had. lucky am I? lol
Unfortunately, I've died three times. A stupid unicorn killed me. lol Can you believe that? How do you get gems, other than just finding them in the forest?
I'm guessing. try to go to the mine in the forest? I didn't have the time to go there though because a barbarian something killed me
Gems are kinda hard to find. You can buy them at eh gem trading shop but they are expencive. I have plenty! if you need any.
try using instant bank before a battle. especially if you have some gold built up.. saves a alot of grief
I just tried going back on the site, and it says "The Page cannot be found." What's up with that? Yes, the address is typed correctly.
I have been having that problem all day. I am guessing the game has suspended itself again. We desparately need a new server for the game.
Oh well, at least it worked for a little while.

Lol I know! but it is all up to him now. And I would think that after this, he will loose a lot of very good players. Draco is not very happy either.
i think dumbledoor thaught he could run this, but really, has no idea of what he is doing. yeah, i wonder how many players have all ready given up trying to get to the game?. he wants more players, yeah. that's not gonna happen

Wildchimp, I hoping you don't mind me posting this here, but being that hl is being mentioned in this thread, I thought I'd just mention something.

I was kind of pissed to find out that voxage was an advertiser. He's in my clan. Advertising through owls is a bannable offense. I remember seeing something about his name recently, something to do with in-game offenses. We're on a watch for him whether he realizes it or not. The whole staff is aware of him.

Ok, I just tried to get onto hpo and got the following message:

Wonder if that means Dumbledore is finally doing something?
HPO is back up! still without a new server though, but at least it is playable!

I'd join a zoners clan on hl. Registration was supposed to open last week, but edmund hasn't had a chance to transfer everything over to the new server. And he was waiting on new ram for it that he finally got. I wish I could say more.

Yeah it is english, it is just down while the reinstall the db which will reset the game.
HPO is back up. They didnt do a reset! yay! The link wasnt working. If you still have trouble getting to the site, let me know and I will give you another link.

Nothing really. He like all staff and some players was deleted when the site was hacked, and when he recreated his character Draco wouldnt promote him to staff. I wont say anymore about that here though...
Ok forget the e-mail thing. I was um ..."unfairly" removed from staff...
